Weekly Geeks 4













This week, at http://www.weeklygeeks.com/ we are asked to judge a book by its cover.
I chose The Graveyard Book, by Neil Gaiman, because there aren't that many covers, and I'm a bit crap at uploading photos. Also, it's one of my favourite books. :)

These are the three photos I found:














I quite like them all and I believe the middle one is the one that most people are familiar with. I have the first one, illustrated by Chris Riddell; mostly because that was the one that was released here.

    I like the first one the best. I just ordered this book for my middle school library...can't wait to get it!!

    I love them all. And as happy as it makes me to see a Newbery sticker on a Neil book, I don't like the place where they put it, covering the ghost.

    I really like the first one. I had only ever seen the second one but the first one is really my favorite.

    While I have the second one, I adore the third cover best. Maybe I'm morbid that way, hahaha!

    Hm, I think I like them all but find it difficult to judge which is best because I don´t have a clue what the book is about :)

    Like the first the best - the UK version the best. Something more interesting and more refined about it to me. What a timely post. Well done!

    I love the UK version and that's what drew me to the book initially. But I was disappointed that here in the States - and my library - it was the second one. The illustrations were good, but that UK one....so provocative.

    I like them all. But question is that bloody knife the kid is standing on in the third? I have read all the book yet.

    I own the second one (without the Award sticker), but I love all three of them.
