It's another fun one from Dewey:
This week’s activity is: A Quote a Day.
I've decided to keep things (relatively) simple and go with cat-related quotes. And there will be cat pix all week, so ... enjoy!

First up is from Eleanor Farjeon. It's a poem, actually, that I've always liked:
Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.
To illustrate that, here is Scout, as a kitten, in one of her favourite sleeping-places:
(Of course, if she tried to get in there now, she'd break the box ...)

Cute poem, and cute picture!
Loved the poem and the picture! I used to have to watch out for my cat because he would always try to sleep in my dryer.
Cats should be an excellent source of quotes... and amusement. Great first post.

Alessandra: Thanks )
Icedream: Luckily that's never happened here!
cj: I was googling quotes yesterday, and the resources certainly are plentiful :)
Very nice poem, it reminds me of my cat Abby - she will sleep anywhere high up. Your kitty is too cute :)
That's adorable! My cat used to do that too....mainly I'd find him in a dresser drawer that my husband left open. If he did that now I'd have a toppled dresser!
