The reading week

How are we looking for the last few days of 2008?
I'm glad you asked, imaginary blogging friend, and the answer is: "okay". Bland, I know, but accurate.
I'm about halfway through My Sister, My Love by Joyce Carol Oates and I'm contemplating starting The Count of Monte Christo _ January's classic _ a few days early.
For one simple reason: that book is HUGE! I honestly had no idea, thereby exposing my ignorance. So I may truck off to bed soon(ish) and maybe make a dent in it. Or I might dig deeper into My Sister, My Love and save the Count for Thursday, which is what a right-acting blogger would do.
Me? I'm a rebel without a clue (which I did steal from somewhere, but I can't remember where.)
Shortest reading week post ever?

My copy of The Count is massive too - like 1500 pages of dense print. I had read it in school and remember nothing about it, but the size of it makes me think I will never give it a re-read (total wuss I am) lol

I've never read The Count (good luck getting through it!), but the movie was pretty good. :)

Thanks for joining my Neil Gaiman challenge! Send me an e-mail (xjessideex [at] gmail [dot] com), and I'll send you an invite to post on the challenge blog. :)
