The reading week

It's Monday, and time to answer the all-important question: What Are You Reading? Posed here: http://j-kaye-book-blog.blogspot.com/
Uhm … I finished Coraline. Which is awesome and creepy. And then accidentally started Guards! Guards! By Mr Sir Terry Pratchett, instead of Memoirs of a Master Forger by William Heaney (Graham Joyce) like I meant to do. But Guards! Guards! is really, really funny, so I don't mind. But Memoirs is next. Definitely. Hm. That's all I have this Monday. Unusually for me, I'm not very chatty. Now there's a Monday to mark on your calendar!
Happy reading everyone! :)

Caroline is one of those books I don't know if I'd enjoy. Did you like it?

I loved it, but I love Neil Gaiman :)

I love Neil Gaiman, I must try Coraline, I think I have it on audio. Have you read The Graveyard Book?

Maree said...

Teddyree, yes I have. That was one of my favourite '08 books. I didn't really review it here, just said I wanted to keep it as a pet, and take it with me everywhere. :)

I have a good friend who swears by Terry Pratchett, but I've never read any of them yet - happy reading!

I reread Coraline a couple of months ago and found I enjoyed it a lot more the first time, this time I like it but didn't find it so creepy.

Terry Pratchett is one of those authors that does nothing for me. I've tried a couple of books from his Discworld series and the only one I liked was Mort, the others just felt forced and not at all funny.

Coraline is one of those books that I always mean to read, but then get distracted by other books. I am glad you enjoyed it. Have a great week.

Jess: I get distracted by books all.the.time. Mr Sir Terry Pratchett, for example, distracted me from the awesomeness that is Graham Joyce.
Happy reading :)

I forgot if you said so previously or not. Are you planning to watch the Coraline movie?

The consensus on Caroline was that it was creepy. I'm going to have to check it out. Here is mine
