That was fun! Naomi Novik is a lot of fun. It's basically a retelling of the Napoleonic Wars with dragons... I have only read the first two books, though. Slacker! I have read the same Mievelle books as you, so maybe I will read Kraken next, too. Someone was posting quotes from it on tumblr and then I found it at the second hand bookstore. :)And, The Name of the Wind is one of my favourite fantasy novels of all time. Enjoy!
Do you have any idea how freakin' adorable you are?!!! Seriously, do you?!!! :D
I haven't read a single book that you have on your pile there. Though I do have Anansi Boys on my OUaT pile, too. And now I want to add The Princess Bride--I've never read it but I've got the book and the movie, too. And I really wasn't sure what all to watch for the Screen Quest but this is perfect. So thank you!
So much fun! You are much braver than I am. I don't think I could do a Vlog. Not that I am physically incapable of it, but you know what I mean!
Temeraire is fun! I love that in the first couple of books at least Novik stuck close to actual history and then added the twist. I was a bit disappointed with the last couple of books but I still keep reading.
I loved Name of the Wind. Have just picked up Wise Man's Fear and I am hoping to read it soon!
Long comment I know, but need to comment on what you said about #spbkchat. The way it is developing is awesome. From a small idea it is cool to see how it has worked out isn't it! And the discussions fly buy!
Kailana: Thanks! I'm looking forward to reading Temeraire :-) Debi: Lol I think I'm a huge dork, but thank you! :-) I've read a couple but most are new to me Marg: I didn't think I'd be able to do it either before I made my first one but it's easier than it looks! Name of the Wind looks awesome and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. I LOVE how people are embracing #spbkchat - it's great and the discussions do go fast!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MAREE!!!! I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time I watched that :D I'd so love to meet you and sit down over a cup of coffee and just chat away...one day!! I'll put it on my list of things to do before I die :p
I LOVE the covers to your books!! So cool!! Especially that Harry Potter cover and your Temeraire cover and The Princess Bride!!

Yay! A vlog! Good job! It is nice to see you :o)
I just picked up a copy of Song for Arbonne too. I think I need to read all of GGK's books.
Spent most of the day creating another vlog for Monday Mailbox. Vlog didn't take too long, but having audio/video sync issues. Sigh.
