Weekly Geeks

The Weekly Geeks subject is here:

http://www.weeklygeeks.com/

Lots of fun topics, and I truly couldn't decide what to do. Then I thought hey, I could make haiku out of the Twilight saga. And, much like the books themselves, the idea wouldn't leave me alone.

Disclaimer: I have actually only reviewed the first book, although I did read all four. And I'm no poet, but this was fun.

Ahem.

The Twilight Saga haiku by Maree, of Just Add Books

*tap ... tap* are the internets on? Here we go:

Twilight:

Bella hearts Edward
Edward wants to nom Bella
Let's go to the prom

New Moon:

Edward leaves Bella
Bella hearts wolfish Jacob
Off to Italy!

Eclipse:

The vamps are coming
Oh noes Edward says Bella
Let's take Jake camping

Breaking Dawn:

It's nearly over

The Volturi are coming

But nothing happens

Hi!
I don't really understand Haiku poetry, but I like it. Haven't read any of the Twilight books, but have been hearing a lot about them!

Having a wrap up post on Romance Reading Challenge sounds like a great idea. Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!!

oh I love the Eclipse one! Your work is much more original than Meyers.
I liked them all. I have to go show some of my friends who despite having read the whole series continues to like Meyer's work(grin).

I also wrote a ´poetic review´ but I can see now that it is difficult to follow it for people who have not read the books.
Interesting haiku, though.

Great reviews! How about one for Midnight Sun?

Twilight through Ed's eyes
At least he can't smolder much
Bella still grates, though.

ROFL! You could have saved me all that time I spent reading the books, you've summed it up perfectly :-D

I especially love your three lines for Eclipse. ;-)

Thanks everyone; I had a lot of fun with those. Tasses _ I'm most disappointed not to have been virtually torn apart by rabid Twilight fangirls, but I guess we all have to get used to disappointment.
And you're welcome :p

I love this! I might consider doing all of my reviews in this format.
